Mid-Autumn or Mooncakes?!


Wow.... it was really late to update my blog about the mooncake festival at here. It was celebrated in the worldwide at 3rd of October with colorful lantern and variety choices of the mooncakes. Hereby, were some pictures that i'd captured during the festival.



A lantern festival was celebrated at Central Market on 26th of Sept (saturday) whereas organized by the Malaysia Cultural & Tourism Ministry. I was at there for nothing at first, but was addicted with hundreds of lantern decoration at the front of the central market.



The lanterns had been decorated all around the central market to attract the public to participate in the games. One the most famous game during Mid-autumn festival was the lantern-riddles. It was a traditional game since the china dynasty for makes the festival more enjoyable. Lot of peoples were participate here to play the lantern-riddles with multiple languages quiz.

Foreigners were participated in lantern-riddles too, where organizer ad prepared the english version for foreigners.

Traditional lantern-riddles games was suitable for all ages. See! The earnest of children concentrated for the games!


Prevention better than cure it! A free mask was given free to the public for prevent influenza H1N1.

The 15minutes fireworks show was played for arrival of Prime Minister and grand opening at the night!

One of the TV journalist weared the chinese traditional dress - Cheongsam !

Everyone was waiting for the arrival of Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Najib! Welcomers of representative of chinese.

A lantern parade was leading front by the dragon dance, lion dance and our Prime Minister along the road nearby Central Market and Kota Raya.


There is plenty of choices for the mooncakes in the market,
with the various flavor and shapes and design,
neither is traditional mooncakes nor modernize mooncakes,
it still representing for the moon festival !
